ESL: English as a Second Language
NYCOFI x NYCC provides 11 ESL courses both online and in person throughout NYC. Our ESL classes primarily serve the Caribbean and Latin American communities and are designed to develop students’ language skills for the workforce and everyday conversations.
Digital Literacy & Computer Skills
Our digital literacy courses are designed to both help adults build skills and confidence to safely access technology and help workers develop the computer skills they need to find a job and navigate the modern-day workplace.
We offer 4 classes and 2 levels: 2 introductory courses in person at our office and 2 advanced courses, with 1 in person and 1 online. We teach students how to use computers and other smart mobile devices and to use the internet both effectively and safely.
